It’s that high-pitched voice of his that makes it so funny. He has a great, cartoon-like delivery. That’s probably why he’s voiced so many animated characters.

Yup. I remember joking about this film in art class with my friends and the teacher was like a deer in headlights.

Peter McNicol is such an under-appreciated actor. Brilliant performance the chemistry bitween Peter and the comic genius legend Rowan is amazing and even though Rowan is the key element of the film. Peter does really stand on his own and does it well.

The marker drawn face is sooo freaking hilarious. This whole sequence was comedic genius.

The scene where Bean puts paint thinner on the painting HORRIFIED me as a kid. Something about the way it starts bubbling and melting. It's like a scene from a horror movie.

Mr Bean has a unique ability to make me laugh so hard yet give me so much anxiety at the same time.

Remember everyone. All of this happened because Mr. Bean sneezed.

Peter MacNicol is so underrated. Not only was he the perfect vocal foil to Rowan Atkinson's classic character, he's always been excellent mixing creepy with comedic. Janusz Poha from Ghostbusters 2 is a curiously similar yet distinctly memorable role to Bean Movie, but also sharing screen with the likes of Leslie Nielsen and Mel Brooks in Dracula: Dead and Lovin' It, makes him comedy royalty.

"I wind up on death row sharing a cell with Butch McDick!" I remember watching this as a kid and not getting the joke, so asking my dad who Butch McDick was! 🤣

Peter MacNicol's reaction performance is by far the funniest thing i've ever witnessed in a movie.

I just love the fact that Bean doesn't just draw a random face to replace the damaged paint, he draws her with a comically long nose, which sort of means before he made the speech about Whistler's Mother being ugly he still thought the picture wasn't that great.

Because this scene carries a very deep meaning. We have all made mistakes in life that we want to fix. At the same time, we are scared that if we don’t fix them, it will hinder on someone else who may be rooting for you or counting on you. We get scared that we could possibly underperform and not live up to our expectations. Bean has showed us that no matter what, you can always fix what you believe to be broken.

I'm 15 and this is still better than most movies I've ever watched

At my job I have to paint, and sometimes I try to fix a small imperfection, making it worse with each attempt to fix the previous mistake, this scene is a perfect analogy on my perfectionism and the lesson that sometimes it's better to leave an imperfection than to impulsively try to remove it. Thanks bean.

This is one of the funniest scenes that I have ever seen anywhere! The drawing that Bean substituted for her face looks like a self portrait of his! LOVE IT 😂
